In December 2011 my then boyfriend proposed to me (eee!) & I decided I was not prepared to be a chubby bride. After umming & ahhing over it for a few months, I started LighterLife in the spring of 2012. I lost six stone :)
The wedding was still five or six months away, & with the pressure of fitting into my small dress & everybody constantly asking me how I was getting on, I started to implode... I got cocky & decided I could manage on my own & quit LighterLife to try to just eat healthily. What a mistake-a to make-a.
My body had been pretty much starving for six months & was NOT prepared for me to go back to eating normally with the odd takeaway. It just wasn't. So my weight shot back up.
I was a size 18 on our wedding day, & when I look back at the photographs to be honest, I feel sad about it. Since the wedding I have become more & more anxious & self-conscious and comfort ate my way right back up to where I was before I started LL :(
So...
I started the Exante diet for the second time (took Christmas break) on 6th January 2014. This will be my year!
This journey won't be fun or easy but I will get there. I did it last time & I can do it again.
NEVER GIVE UP.
